Hey Folks,
I'm hosting a special event in Boston this Saturday for the Massachusetts Youth Pride Committee! There are lots of events on Saturday, starting @ the Common in the morning. I'll be hosting the 'Open Mic' event starting @ 4:30 @ the City Year Headquarters on Comm. Ave. Come by and support young artists for Boston Youth Pride! Check out their site @ www.massyouthpride.org and click on "youth pride '08" for the schedule of events. See you there!
In other news, summer is almost here and I WILL be back in Ptown this season starting Saturday, May 24th! "Good Times Pub" (in the location formerly occupied by "Chaser's) has invited me, and all you guys, back to rekindle the good old days in our favorite cozy watering hole! I'll be performing my solo show all season so come on down and party like we used to! PS-if you haven't already checked out the club..trust me...you're gonna like the renovations!

Unfortunately "First Friday Open Mic Night", in Somerville, has come to an end. We've had a fabulous turn out each time, however, the club has changed hands and can no longer accomodate us. Because of the response, we are actively seeking a new location.....so...if you have any ideas or suggestions please let me, or Kristen, know! A special thanks to Kristen Porter of www.dykenight.com for promoting these, and other women's events, in our community for over ten years. Check her website often for new events and locations.
