I have three different shows that I promote to clubs for bookings:
"Similar Features: the Melissa Etheridge anthology" - the most recent incarnation of my band featuring the music of Melissa Etheridge from the late 80's to the present. We perform three different versions of the show: A casual duo version featuring acoustic and bass guitars in a sing-along, audience interactive setting; An "Unplugged Trio" version, for slightly higher energy atmospheres, adding drums to the duo to create a more structured but still interactive, acoustic/rock and roll show, and lastly; A full tilt four piece rock and roll show, adding lead guitar riffs, to recreate the most authentic "Melissa" show possible without actually inviting Melissa herself! The show runs approx. 2 hrs. straight and is generally followed by DJ dancing in most of the clubs we've booked it in. In some cases, however, we do go back on stage for the rest of the night, performing an eclectic mix of rock and roll, blues etc.
"Where's Willy" - an eighties style "Chick Rock" band featuring the music of women rockers from the eighties, ie. Pat Benatar, Blondie, Joan Jett, Annie Lennox etc. Four to five piece rock band, consisting of mostly women performers, complete with 80's keyboard orchestrations, rippin' guitar leads, harmonies and no holds barred 80's attitudes! Not raunchy but not for prudes either!
"Sheri Lynne and Stillwater" - an original and cover based club power trio featuring Guitar, Bass and Drums where everyone plays and everyone sings. Some of the best artists on Cape Cod have rotated thru this group over the past ten years, giving it a strong, versatile reputation. With country, rock, blues, r&b and original material there's guaranteed to be something for everyone with "Stillwater".
